Really, I dedicated two years of my life to built quality Squidoo lenses. in fact, I'm still building it. Not that I was real success. But I really am stubborn guy (Capricorn, LOL) and I do my stuff well. Is it really time to let go Squidoo? Other people are complaining too. I know there are lots of lenses with simply Amazon modules trying to sell pretty much everything, but does this mean every hard working squid must be affected with the problem?
To be fair - there's one more thing bothering me. As I started to work on Squidoo, they encouraged me to visit other people's lenses. They also encouraged me to attract other people on my lenses. Well, I created a FB group with fellow squidders from my country. It's a tiny Middle-European country. We were doing pretty good. We were small, very committed group of people. I guess some of us were quite successful on Squidoo. Not me though, but that's not the point. At one point I spotted some people calling us "my countryname"-mafia. Sorry, mafia? If we're following Squidoo rules, visiting other people's lenses, commenting, squid-liking - we're mafia? Now, I'd love to be wrong about that, but talking to some other people from my country and knowing that many of them are experiencing similar problems - I somehow get the feeling that people from Squidoo are not all that happy with giving money to some country they probably can't find on the map. Am I just paranoic or is it the case? Your comments on the topics are welcome!
